'Covid-19 vaccination'

Dear All, 

Covid-19 vaccination Maha Abhiyan campaign will start on June 21, 2021.

All the students, faculty members and other staffs are requested to get inoculated with COVID-19 vaccine doses as per schedule.

Beneficiaries can register online or at government-run centres. Modifications are also being made in the Cowin app to enable of those above 18 years.

'AICTE Extends Engg Admissions 2020-21 Deadline'

As per the latest update, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the admission deadline for engineering courses for academic year 2020-21 until the year-end. In a formal notice released on 3rd December, the council notified that the admission deadline has been extended for engineering courses keeping in mind the delay in release of CET result of a few state. MIET Bhandara NSS Unit Support during Covid-19 pandemic

Amid the Corona virus outbreak, students of MIET Bhandara NSS Unit have resorted to several measures to prevent the spread of the disease.

They offered help to 20 needy families in Gopewada by distributing daily needs articles, other than rice and wheat. They also distributed the packets consists of sugar, chana, biscuits, soap etc.

Importantly, 20 volunteers are ready to work with districts administration, when their services will be required.

The students have also explained the importance of maintaining hygiene to prevent the virus.
