Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Manoharbhai Patel Institute Of Engineering and Technology, Bhandara is committed to develop entrepreneurial spirit among the students. Entrepreneurship is nurtured from the student’s academic journey to motivate them to offer jobs to others instead of waiting for job. We strive to inspire students to create new and innovative business ventures compliant to current market and standards.

Entrepreneurship Cell provides mentoring and regular guidance to the students from industry experts and successful entrepreneurs from various areas of business. EDP cell was established in the institute in 2016 in objective to disseminate knowledge and insights in entrepreneurial theory and practice through lectures, activities and workshops and to collaborate with similar bodies working in this field to accomplish the objectives.

We have signed MoU with MAHARASHTRA CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT, (MCED) (AN AUTONOMOUS SOCIETY WORKING UNDER DIRECTORATE OF INDUSTRIES, GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA) for organizing the entrepreneurship development activities for our young Engineering undergraduates.

Entrepreneurship Cell also helps students from family business background to implement new ideas and scale new horizons by redefining traditional way of doing business. We aim to instill qualities in students to contribute to efficiency and growth of their organizations.

Till now we have arranged 3 major workshops in collaboration with MAHARASHTRA CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT, EDP institute of India and Department of Science and technology, New Delhi for the final year students in the year 2016, 2018 and 2019 for three days; which includes expert lectures from various fields in Entrepreneurship, Banking, finance and Govt. departments. The workshops were accomplished with site visits to the industry.
